In anticipation of the upcoming celebration for the nation's 50th birthday, Crystal Jade Group of Restaurants have launched a line up of limited edition dim sum, local-inspired xiao long bao dumplings, as well as promotional dining delights for its discerning customers.
Experience Singapore's signature dishes in a mouthful with Crystal Jade's all new Chilli Crab Xiao Long Bao dumplings filled with chunky crab meat in a spicy broth 辣椒蟹小笼包 and Hainanese Chicken Rice Xiao Long Bao dumplings with minced thigh meat paired with homemade ginger paste 海南鸡饭小笼包 at a special price of $7.80++/set of four pieces (two pieces per flavour).
These two tantalising local-inspired steamed dumplings are available at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao & Crystal Jade Jiang Nan from 1 July to 30 September 2015.

Exclusively at Crystal Jade Palace Restaurant, Crystal Jade Golden Palace & Crystal Jade Dining IN outlets, a suite of traditional dim sum with modern flavours will be introduced over the months of July and August.
From 1 July 2015 - Start your meal on a luxurious note with the Steamed Siew Mai with Caviar ($9.50 for 3 pieces) 鱼子酱烧卖皇, featuring the minced meat balls lavished with chunks of prawns and crowned with a small mound of caviar.
Don't be taken aback by the whitish appearance of the other steamed siew mai. The top of the siew mai is actually laced with a luscious egg white sauce, within the lump of meat ball is a mix of minced pork, black fungus, and sweet diced chestnuts, while the whole quail egg makes quite a surprising addition.

Another dim sum introduced in the month of July - Deep Fried Hokkaido Milk Custard ($8 for 5 pieces) 凤城炸鲜奶 is a golden pillow of delight, featuring a sweet, soft and creamy centre made with Hokkaido milk, which is then coated with a light batter and deep fried to perfection.
Launching from 1 August at Crystal Jade Palace Restaurant, Crystal Jade Golden Palace & Crystal Jade Dining IN, are four other new dim sum delights namely; Goldfish Crystal Dumplings, Chirpy Chick Pastry, Full Bloom and Fried Chilli Crab Meat Bun.
Fans of chilli crab should have a go at Crystal Jade's Fried Chilli Crab Meat Bun ($5.50 for 3 pieces) 辣椒蟹肉炸包. Shredded crab meat and sweet chilli sauce are wrapped up in the mantou bun and deep-fried to golden.
For those looking for a change of pace from the usual dim sum, Crystal Jade gets playful by turning out whimsical riffs on the classics which will tickle more than just your taste buds.
Goldfish Crystal Dumplings ($5.50 for 3 pieces) 奶皇金鱼饺 are petite crystal dumplings filled with a rich salted egg yolk custard in the shape of goldfish. You can easily tell how masterful were the skills of the culinary chefs, just by looking at the details of the dim sum such as the precise outline of the fish fins and the eyes.
The final two newfangled dim sum are the adorable Chirpy Chick Pastry ($5.50 for 3 pieces) 松子莲蓉鸡仔酥 made with Chinese pastry crust and lotus paste filling, and the flower-shaped, Full Bloom Lotus Paste and Yam Pastry 莲蓉花芋酥 ($5.50 for 3 pieces) with pine nuts - both highlighting again the culinary prowess and dim sum handcrafting skills of the chefs at Crystal Jade.
Till 30 September 2015, diners will receive one complimentary new dim sum item with every order of two new dim sum.
