MEDZS Bistro and Bar at Clifford Centre

From Spanish tapas to Italian pizzas, Greek seafood platters to French sweet and savoury delights, MEDZS has one of the largest range of Mediterranean cuisine in Singapore.

The third outlet MEDZS Bistro & Bar, located in the heart of CBD boasts a different and unique dining concept, operating as a bistro by day and bar by night.  

Weekday breakfast offerings start from 08:00am to 11:00am daily, with any purchase of a breakfast item, you can get a cup of Italian Lavazza coffee by topping up $1.50.

During lunch hours, you can check out the affordable set meal with choice of one soup, one main course and one drink at only $18.90. Draft beer lovers can top up $1.00 to their set meal which is available from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

The gourmet experience does not end there, as MEDZS offers an All-Day Dining concept. You can continue to enjoy your drinks while savouring Mediterranean style tapas and main courses into the night. 

Premium beers on offer start from as low as $4.90, it is definitely one of the Best Happy Hour deals in town. An array of premium wines and mojito daily specials are available for delectable food pairings. One of the main courses you can expect is the MEDZS Signature Honey Glazed Pork Ribs ($17.90). The pork ribs are oven roasted and served with sautéed and truffle balsamic sauce.

Another oven baked item is the Semi-Cured Salmon ($18.90). The herb-crusted semi cured salmon is served with potatoes, micro herb salad and lime vinaigrette. The dominant seasonings in Mediterranean cooking are salt, herbs, and spices. This salmon dish will be enjoyable for those who prefer heavy seasoning. 

MEDZS Signature Burger ($19.90)

I think that burgers are not great inspirational food from the Mediterranean kitchen, but I was wrong this time and thankful that they did a good job. Don't let the picture fool you as the burger was packed with flavours in major ways. The foie gras was nicely executed and sauced, the patty was juicy and tender you can sink your teeth into. 

Iced MelonDew Tea ($5.90)

The iced melon dew tea falls short on taste as the flavour profile of the melon did not blend seamlessly with the tea. It will make a unique and refreshing iced tea if there are softer and sweeter notes. 

Kirin Frozen Fruit Beer ($6.90)

MEDZS is one of the first in Singapore to offer the latest Kirin frozen fruit beers which come in different flavours such as peppermint, strawberry, mango, peach and lychee.

As I wasn't craving for a beer, I did not taste the Kirin frozen fruit beer and just took a photo of it. The beer worked well for the couple next to me, they said the beer was full-flavoured and refreshing with a touch of fruity notes. I know for sure I'd order that when I'm back at MEDZS next time. 

MEDZS Signature Rainbow Cake ($6.90)

Everyone will be wolfing down the dessert plates, whenever they see a cake with pretty sections of rainbow colours. The cheery looking rainbow cake is light with thin layers of cream cheese frosting, it was rather moist and pleasant on both its looks and taste. It is arguably one of the Best Rainbow Cakes in Singapore. 

Salted Caramel Cheese Cake ($5.90)

The cheesecake is paired with our favourite salted caramel sauce which makes it even more sensational. It is sweet, moist and full of depth, and doesn't leave any cloying sentiments. We didn't even struggled to finish the slice.
